You don't have to be experienced in animal care to become a valued member of our volunteer program. You need only love and want to help the animals.

• How to become a volunteer: We offer 5 volunteer programs: Adults (18 years+), Juniors (15-18 yrs), Summer Workshops (13-14 yrs -- see below), Companion Animal Program (15 years +), and Barks & Books (15 years +) . Click here to apply.
  
  
• Summer Workshops for 13 and 14 year olds: Workshops meet daily, for one week, from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Cost for the 20 hour course is $100. (There are a few scholarships available.) Participants may only attend one workshop per year. Workshops will be held July 21-25 and August 11-15. To request an application, contact ext.124 and leave your mailing address.

Everyone can check out our Home Projects for making pet beds, homebaked treats and toys for the shelter animals!  Plus there are dozens of other local animal welfare organizations that need your help. You can find their contact information here.
