Hi there,

We adopted a dog from you (from Ute, I believe) on November 11, 2006.
Since then, Shadow has become a really wonderful part of our household.

Shadow keeps very active with us. So far, he has gone on two road trips to Oregon, countless hikes in the San Gabriels, many trips to the dog beach. He goes along with me to my office two days a week and has been officially adopted as the office mascot (he even has his own special section in the office handbook) where he works his way down the hallway getting his ears scratched (and sniffing in the trash cans!). On the days when I work at home, he sleeps under my desk, looking up hopefully every now and then to see if it's time to play. He maintains a strong interest in squirrels, but has learned that the cats are off limits. When he came to us, he was a little shy with other dogs and very afraid of small children, but he's improved quite a bit in both areas. He's been a great addition to the family and we feel really fortunate to have found him. We think he's the best dog around.
