My name is Matt and I adopted Marloe (a very cute Rat Terrier) from the Pasadena Humane Society last December. He was just a little pup that fit in my hand. I had been looking for a Jack Russell for two years to adopt and was just looking when I found Marloe. Needless to say, he was listed as a Jack Russell. After some growth and much research on my part, I am certain he's a Rat Terrier - and that's great! I have had dogs all my life. Dogs have always been part of the family and when I adopted Marloe I had two dogs at home - Barney, a Boxer, and Rosie, a dobbie. Both Barney and Rosie had found me and I took them in for life like many dogs before. Marloe has been the BEST dog I have had.The Rat Terrier breed is super! I cannot tell you how happy he and I are with each other. He sleeps in the bed with me, goes all over the house with me, and plays with me. He is VERY smart and loving. He is also VERY spoiled - but that's my fault. Barney and Rosie love him and they all get along great. Marloe is my best little friend.

I've sent along a short movie of Marloe at home and hope you can view it. I wanted you at the Society to see what a great home Marloe has and how happy we are. I also want to thank you deeply for the work you do which has allowed me such a good companion and friend.
