July 5, 2007 - This is Manu (black & tan Kelpie, adopted 12/1/06) and Webster (white & tan Cattle dog, adopted 5/1/07). We met Manu when she was teeny tiny at the Pasadena Humane Society in November. We took her home at about 9 pounds and watched her grow into a big girl of almost 50! We knew all along that Manu DESPERATELY wanted a brother or sister to play with, so we worked on helping her learn to be a big girl as soon as possible so she would be ready to share her home with a sibling. A couple of months ago we came back to the PHS and met Webster - when the two of them met it was love at first sight! They bonded instantly, were completely perturbed when we separated them for two hours while his adoption paperwork was filled out, and they’ve been best friends ever since (and have never left each other’s sight). They are such wonderful happy dogs and we are so thrilled that they are a part of our family! They couldn’t live without each other and we couldn’t live without them. Thanks so much for all you do!
