Happy Adoption Stories - Chocolate

11/16/2007

Hi, I adopted a long-haired chocolate brown colored Chihuahua-Dachshund mix puppy a little over 2 years ago from the Pasadena SPCA and was wondering if there’s any way that I can get the original photo of her that you had on-line for her pet adoption process. We’ve since named her “Chocolate” and she’s doing well here in our home. She even sleeps with us in our bed at night. But, we don’t have any baby pictures of “Chocolate” and I can’t seem to get that very special first photo of her out of my mind. She just spoke to us with those eyes and big loppy ears!

I know it’s probably a lot of trouble and you may not even have the old data anymore but, is there any way for me to get that picture? She was sitting on a chair in the licensing office there in her photo. If not, I understand… thanks for your time and all the hard work you guys do there!

P.S. If you ever wonder how some of the adopted animals end up doing, we think Chocolate’s very happy. We walk her everyday rain or shine for at least 30 min to an hour. She has her own little raincoat for those rainy days. And she’s smothered with love from my 2 kids (now 12 & 15), my husband and me. Her ear hairs have gotten very long since she was a puppy. I’ve attached 2 photos in case you guys are wondering what she looks like now. We are greatly in-debted to you all! Now that my daughter turned 15, she’s planning on applying to volunteer there for the junior’s volunteer program in Dec. Thanks so much for everything!
