July 14, 2003 - Hi my name is Abbigale, well at least that has been my name since I came to live with my new mom. I was adopted in July of 2002 at the Pasadena Humane Society. The nice people at PHS said my name was Fluffy, but that was the name my first family gave me, so they brought me back to PHS to find a new home. My new mom met me cuz she saw my photo as "Pet of the week". When we made eye contact for the first time, we both new it was a perfect match. I had to have surgery before I could go to my new home, so it took a week before I actually got to move in.

My new home is in Sierra Madre and I really like it. I don't get to go outside but mom has feeders outside of the windows so I get to watch birds and squirrels all day long. There are even deer out in the yard sometimes. I have a "roomate" and her name is Emily. (Photo at left.) She is 16 years old and kind of grumpy, but I like her anyway. Mom likes to take pictures of us, but the "black thing that flashes" really scared me at first. It doesn't bother me anymore, so mom has lots of pictures of us. We just got another PHS addition to the family, his name is Samson. He is still kind of camera shy, but when gets more settled in his new home, he can tell his own happy adoption story.
