Dear 2006 Wiggle Waggle Walker:

On behalf of all of us at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, we would like to express our great thanks and appreciation for your contribution to the 2006 Wiggle Waggle Walk for the Animals.

Thanks to your fundraising efforts, our 2006 Walk was the most successful ever - raising a record-breaking $155,000 for the animals and drawing more than 1,200 animal lovers from around Southern California.

The funds you helped raise are being used to provide food, shelter and medical care to the nearly 11,000 animals rescued by the humane society every year. This money also helps us find new and loving homes for them.

Last year we were pleased to offer the opportunity for participants to create their own fundraising web pages for this event, allowing supporters to easily donate on-line. Here are the results of this new fundraising format:

• 236 on-line fundraising pages were created.
• Nearly 1,200 individuals contributed on-line through these web pages.
• On-line giving comprised nearly half of the total donations raised for this event.
• Our top individual fundraiser collected $1,535 in donations.
• Our top team raised just over $6,000 for the animals.

Because of your support, we can continue our mission to accept and care for every animal that comes to us from our seven city service area - an average of 40 a day. As an Open Door Shelter, we never turn an animal away for any reason, which means that these lost, injured and abandoned animals depend on people like you for a Second Chance.
