If you have a pet you wish to spay or neuter, please consider scheduling an appointment with your regular veterinarian or contact us at the beginning of November and we will schedule an appointment for 2009.

Here are some Myths and facts about spay/ neuter.

Microchipping – residents of our service cities can get their pet microchipped, by appointment only, on Sunday afternoons for just $20. The Pasadena Humane Society uses the Home Again pet recovery system as their microchip provider. Home Again has an annual renewal cost, currently $14.99, if you wish to renew after one year - failure to renew will NOT result in an inactive microchip. Your information will remain in the Home Again database but you will lose access to their extra services. For a list of services, please visit their website at www.homeagain.com. Pit Bulls & Pit Bull mixes - we offer FREE spaying or neutering and FREE microchipping for Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes who reside in our service cities (Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, La Canada/ Flintridge, Sierra Madre, Arcadia and Glendale) and also the neighboring city of Altadena.
